As a leadership team member, the Manager will partner with other staff members to execute the financial commitments of the business. Engineering leadership includes: recruiting, developing, training,coaching, goal and performance management. This leader is the primary resource for leading the Engineering Team through the planning and implementation of new program / product development. The role will partner with group business and operations leadership to ensure the transformation to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. * Education and Experience:* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university; Masters of Science. · 4+ years of technical team management and progressive design, project 4+ and general engineering experience. Strong program management skills required. · Strong math, statistics and computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, and MathCAD).Solid Modeling - CAD skills a plus (Solid Works, CATIA V5 or NX). *Competitive Advantage:* Thorough knowledge of aerospace industry accepted system and component design and analysis techniques and an understanding of electro-mechanical devices such as motors, direction control valve, servo-valves, & motor operated valves. A good understanding of hydro-mechanical devices such as actuators and valves and experience with DC motor design, assembly and testing. Experience with Part 23 and Part 25Certification processes and ANSI Y14.5. * Project Engineer* *Job Function:* The candidate MUST have a strong background in analysis, R&D, design of state-of-the-art pneumatic components and systems aerospace experience.
