Title :- Microstrategy Developer
Location :- Germantown, MD.
They strongly prefer someone who can go temp to perm but they are willing to
consider straight contractors.
Face to face interview will be required after a phone conversation.
*Responsibilities include: *
¨ Design, development, testing and support of MicroStrategy reporting
projects and the MicroStrategy environment.
¨ Participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle of
MicroStrategy applications.
¨ Gather, clarify and document reporting requirements.
¨ Design and implement multi-dimensional ad-hoc reporting environments
with an emphasis on simplifying the user experience.
¨ Produce data maps and design and implement loading scripts.
¨ Validate all work products with a sense of pride and ownership.
¨ Provide production support for applications.
¨ Provide administration and tuning support, monitor infrastructure and
security.
¨ Interact with several teams and implement solutions from beginning to
end.
*Requirements:*
¨ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
¨ 2+ years of experience implementing business intelligence applications
using the
MicroStrategy platform, in all phases of the project life-cycle.
¨ Experience with the full suite of MicroStrategy products, including
Desktop, Intelligence Server, Web, Narrowcaster and Subscription Portal.
¨ Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
¨ Strong communication skills.
*Desired or a Plus: *
¨ Recent MicroStrategy certification
¨ MicroStrategy SDK experience
¨ MicroStrategy Administration experience
