***Albany, NY [F2F Required]* ***6-12 Months+ * * * *Healthcare industry preferred.. but not required* ** *Description*: The person in this position will work on DJJOY data modeling/design, ETL, and validation within the OCFS enterprise data warehouse architecture. In addition, this person will assist with Cognos report development, including creating packages, cubes and reports, and applying security. This position is needed in order to meet the vast data/report requirements for DJJOY and related to the DOJ system enhancements. *Mandatory:* 1.Five years experience working with oracle, with a thorough understanding of the architecture and processes of the oracle server, including Oracle 9i and/or Oracle 10g or higher. (Pass/Fail) 2.Three years experience as an oracle database administrator in a production database environment. (Pass/Fail) 3.Three years experience in monitoring and tuning the general performance of the oracle database. (Pass/Fail) 4.Three years experience writing SQL-PL/SQL, stored procedures and triggers. (Pass/Fail) 5.Three years experience in identifying business rules and database design. (Pass/Fail) 6.One year experience in the transition of systems, including the transfer of knowledge and mentoring. (Pass/Fail) 7.Three years experience in the design and implementation of data warehousing and data mart activities in multiple, large scale database environment. (Pass/Fail) 8.Three years experience in designing strategies for migrating data from hierarchical to relational database structures, and integrating these strategies on multiple platforms. (Pass/Fail) *Desirables:* 1. In a data warehouse setting utilizing an enterprise data warehouse with dependent data marts in an Oracle environment, performing development work 2. Using PL/SQL 3. Using advanced Extract/Transform/Load techniques including bulk select, bulk insert, arrays, dynamic SQL and developing detailed incremental ETL processes. 4. Demonstrated experience developing and testing maps in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), data versioning techniques. (40 points) 3. Four or more years demonstrated experience: 1. Developing and testing of complex reports 2. Utilizing an enterprise web-based reporting tool. 3. Cognos 8 and PowerPlay, generating cubes, and implementing multi-layered security through Cognos.
