Job Title:Business Analyst Location:Minneapolis, MN Duration:06 Months(contract) Pay Range:Open Complete Description: "Strong end-to-end Business Analysis skills including requirements analysis, functional design, data analysis, software implementation "Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and user interface requirements "Strong technical skills to debug problems, and research data impacts of systems processes so that they can create detailed specifications for interfaces, data mapping, automations, and reports. "Strong experience performing SQL queries and scripting "Lawson M3 experience desired, knowledge of Lawson Mobility a plus. "Exhibits knowledge and research ability to incorporate emerging industry and technology practices when solving business problems. "Previous experience with project efforts relating to warehousing and supply chain preferred. Key Duties: "Collaborate with IT Business Partners, architecture and application development teams and other subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between requirements, usability and performance needs "Articulate functionality of systems to business and IT teams at various level · Business Analysis: "Schedule, coordinate, prepare and facilitate stakeholder requirements gathering sessions "Translate business needs into clear requirements that will enable the design of flexible solutions to enable business strategies and align with IT architecture direction "Gather, document and analyze business requirements from clients and stakeholders "Develop use cases, business flows or functional specifications from requirements & functionality requests "Analyze business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies and/ or required functional enhancements, and document business processes and procedures "Obtain approval and business sign-off on requirements · Technical Analysis: "Analyze business requirements and translate them to data requirements "Create and modify data mapping templates · Testing: "Create and maintain requirements traceability "Work closely with quality assurance to develop testing plan and use cases "Provide inputs to testing plans for product and user acceptance test phases and create test scenarios for both phases "Facilitate user acceptance testing Interpersonal skills: "Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers "Outstanding communication skills – formal verbal and written communications, and with the personality and authority to communicate professionally, effectively and sensitively with a wide range of senior management, user and IT personnel "Strong team player skills adept to working in smaller organizations that has fewer specialists "Possess nimble, creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and customer mindsets Please complete the following and send back with your updated resume.
