Location: DC area & PA Multiple positions Duration: 6 months Job title: Ethernet Manager *Daily Responsibilities:* • This is an manager level person in an individual contributor role that will work with senior leadership from Product Management, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Network Operations, Information Technology, Call Center Personnel and National Customer Care to manage the deployment for the client.. • Define project plan and determine the best course of action to achieve the client´s goals and expected deliverables. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of telecommunications and cable operations. • Obtain resource commitments from the client and assemble client review teams. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans with dependencies and key milestones based on coordination with all project stakeholders. • Work with key client resources to identify project risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans. • Ensure project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress regularly to identify variances from the plan and take corrective action as necessary. • Schedule and facilitate project team meetings to ensure all deployment requirements are effectively communicated to team members. • Perform status reporting to communicate progress to project sponsors, and key stakeholders. • Maintain an issues list and communicate key issues to project sponsors, and key stakeholders. • Track project spending and ensure project costs are allocated to the appropriate cost centers. • Oversee all aspects of deployment delivery and ensure the successful completion of deliverables. • Executive status to company and client organization. • Relationship building with the client organization. • Excellent written and oral communication skills at an executive level *Qualifications:* *• Bachelors degree from an accredited University * *• Minimum of five years of with implementing and managing Ethernet Products (e.g. Cell Backhaul, Enterprise or Wholesale) * *• Minimum of five years of experience in dealing with multiple Ethernet site installation and/or provisioning activities * *• Minimum of ten years of telecommunications experience * *• Minimum of ten years of project management experience in a cross team environment. * *• Minimum of five years working any of the following ILEC's (Bell South, Verizon East, Verizon West, ATT and EMBARQ) either directly or as a vendor/consultant * *Must Have Skills * * * *• Telecommunications Knowledge - non-wireless * *• Experience working with ILEC's and CLEC's for installation coordination for Ethernet Products * *• Management of a mid-sized team of people between 15 and 25 FTEs * *• Project Management Experience * *• Deployment experience of Ethernet products from sales engineering to customer turn up * *• I am proficient to an expert at using Microsoft Project * *Nice To Have Skills * • Managing Call Center resources that handle telecommunications provisioning If you are interested in this position please respond with updated resume rate and Contact details ASAP.
