Title: DBA - Teradata
Location: Richmond, VA
Expected Duration: 12 months
Rate: open
Responsible for the design, development and administration of analytical
data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the
areas of data access and delivery technologies in Teradata. Skills in a
secondary RDBMS, such as Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server desirable. Duties
include creating physical data model, documentation of design decisions and
security implementation, performance tuning, monitoring, software installs
and upgrades and UNIX shell scripting. Previous use of data modeling tool
like Erwin is required. Familiarity with ETL Tools like Ab Initio,
DataStage, Informatica, etc.
Need bank experience in the first project. COF Experience is required.
Work Experience 5+ years
Works independently
Familiarity with other data bases, ETL tools, web applications and or other
programming languages
COF Experience - Desired but not required
Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their
development into a final product
ETL experience in implementation and design
Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive
Sponsors to team members).
