This position will be assigned to work for the Sacramento Area Sewer District at the Mather location to provide application enhancement, maintenance, development and reporting. Selected duties for the Client Server Programmer are as follows: A minimum of five years experience in a production environment required. Experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL programming, SQL Server Reporting Services, Workflow Programming, Power Shell, SharePoint, and the SharePoint Object Model. Knowledge and experience in commonly used programming languages, programming tools and development platforms such as VBScript, JavaScript, and HTML. Experience in successful development of Graphical User Interface (GUI) programs, Application Program Interface (API) tools, and development tools including Visual Studio. Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel Experience with client-server database connectivity Perform as a member of our Team with duties that include creation of application specifications, detailed logic design, testing, and code documentation. Experience working with customers to gather and document scope of work, major deliverables, and estimating project/task hours. Ability to work independently with users and technical personnel to clarify requirements and coordinate tasks.* ** *Candidates will need a balance of exceptional people and technical skills.* **
