If yes, please send your updated resume ASAP. *Job Title Cognos Architect Experience Level: 10+ Yrs IT exp Location: East Windsor, CT Duration: 3 - 6 months* *Job Description: * • * 10+ years of full life-cycle experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence • Proven experience in Cognos Architecture and Design • A successful track record of delivering complex business intelligence projects on time • Proven experience in Capacity planning and Load balancing • Extensive experience in LDAP and Access Manager • Strong knowledge of performance tuning tactics appropriate at each layer within a business intelligence/data-warehouse environment • Experience with determining requirements, evaluating existing Cognos environments, and recommend best practices • Experience with BI tools on the Windows / UNIX platform • Experience estimating Report / Cube migration work and creating a matching resource plan • Strong understanding of relational database concepts - data modeling, SQL, query optimization, data warehouse architecture *• Strong hands on data modeling and demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into a data model structure (dimensional or snowflake) • Ability to coordinate across multiple infrastructure groups and prepare necessary technical documentations and proposals • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator • Strong documentation skills including experience writing Work break down structures and Architectural diagrams • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills • Conduct all technical discussions and manage and accountable for Technical design definition and implementation • Analyzes in detail functional business applications and design specifications.
