Job Title: SOA Project Manager Location: Phoenix,AR (Locals Preferred) Duration: 1 year contract This is a Project Manager position with strong SOA Services Design and Development experience. Need a Project Manager, but on that has strong SOA Services Development experience, Web Standards, and Infrastructure Technologies such as ESB, BPM, BAM, and WSM, etc. You can see the full job description below. I’d take an SOA Architect, if they have enough PM type skills in their resume, but SOA PM is first choice. . Local preferred, but I’ll take out of state candidates as well as long as you’re willing to fly them in for an in-person interview should the manager request it (which is very likely after a phone screen). Long term 1 year contract with possible extensions. Also, this manager is willing to look at US Citizens, EAD’s, and H1 Visa candidates (I’m guess in that level of interest, but anyone strong as an SOA Project Manager will work). Brief Description SOA Services Design, Development and Test project manager. This Project Manager will support the efforts from request to deployment of Transactional and Structural Services for the company. Deliverables Requested Weekly progress and status reports. Create, Manage and maintain MPOS Project Plan Create Activity lists. Create Milestones and timeline. gather estimates of effort. Manage Risks, issues and dependency lists Manage Project Budget and Scope. Skills Required Strong PM experience, complex projects, multi-tasking Strong PM experience, cross-project, relationships and dependencies Strong PM experience, project reporting and communications Strong PM experience with multiple SDLC and development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile) Experience Required SOA Infrastructure Technologies and including: ESB, BPM, BAM, WSM, Registry/Repository Reasonable exposure to SOA Services Development and including: Web Services, Java, .NET Reasonable exposure to SOA and Web Services Standards (WS-I BP, XML, XSD, WSDL, UDDI, BPEL, SOAP, WS-Security, WS-Addressing) Reasonable exposure to Non-Functional Requirements (NFR's) and their importance to implementation success Reasonable exposure to SOA and Web Services Standards (XML, XSD, WSDL, UDDI, SOAP, WS-Security, WS-Addressing) Highly desired exposure to and understanding of core EA and SOA principles: Loose Coupling, Interoperability, Performance, Integration, Availability, Security Description & Business Justification : The SOA program has a large amount of work and needs a strong PM with Skills and experience with SOA. The SOA Program has 3 areas of effort. The Infrastructure "BackBone". The Integration TCC (Technical Competency Center).
