Maintains the network by performing the necessary maintenance to support the availability and functionality of the network's hardware (routers, switches etc) and monitoring the network's performance (traffic, bandwidth, capacity). There are two key focuses for this position. · First is firewall. The candidate must have in depth firewall deployment, configuration, and management experience. Experience should include, Pix, ASA, Checkpoint Firewall-1, and Provider-1. Additionally experience with VPN concentrators, Blue Coat cache and AV engines is a plus. · The second component is DNS. Candidate must have 3+ years experience maintaining and managing DNS infrustructure for a large organization (20K+ nodes).
