Thanks Senior Java Developer Job Description: Must have skills: *Java 5; JEE technologies including JSF, EJB3 *Spring technologies (WebFlow, Security) *RichFaces and a4J----MUST HAVE *XML processing using DOM and SAX *JBoss Application Developer *Web technologies: HTML,Javascript, CSS *MySQL Requirements: - Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience - 8+ years of J2EE web development experience - Proficiency with Java 5, generics, annotations, enums, etc. - Strong knowledge of MySQL, SQL and database design - Expertise with Eclipse IDE & JBoss Developer Studio. - Expertise with HTML/CSS standards and cross-browser JavaScript development - Expertise with JBoss Application Server, including application deployment and tuning - Expertise with JSF and RichFaces - Expertise with Spring Web Flow and Spring Security - Expertise with EJB 3, JPA, Hibernate, and transaction handling - Experience creating and consuming web services using Apache Axis or similar - Experience building reports with JasperReports, integration with JSF application. - Experience with XML parsing using both SAX and DOM parsers - Experience with Subversion version control - Experience with Perl, used by legacy application and other Petfinder systems - Experience with data migration, especially on large data sets (2.5MM records) - Design, implement, and test J2EE code for new projects and for maintenance to the existing system - Ability and eagerness to work on all aspects of enterprise application development, including requirements gathering, database architecture, web-tier design, business-tier design, unit testing, performance testing, and maintenance - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in relation to both technical and non-technical audiences - Ability to learn quickly and be self motivated - Responsible for the full application lifecycle.
