This Application Developer will participate in system development activities related to supporting the company's pricing applications. Individual will support Windows Systems modifications to support Quantitative and New Product initiatives. Job Requirements: 4+ years Application Development experience using Microsoft Visual C++, SQL Server DB, and COM. C#, .NET and DCOM experience is a huge plus. Previous work in a Production Support capacity providing real time support is also a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Individual must be competent to work at a high technical level at all phases of system development. In depth knowledge of the testing process is also required. Financial industry experience is also desirable. Additional Information 18 month assignment work on a Legacy Pricing Application written in Visual C++. There were will multiple short term 2-4 month enhancement projects that this person will work on during the 18th month term. Someone ideally out of the financial sector would be a big plus (Markets, Investments, Trading) etc. Experience with Visual Studio 2008 a must. SQL Server a must. COM a must. C# and.NET a plus, DCOM a plus. The team has 8 people on it. Need someone with experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle experience. (SDLC). Person will be doing enhancements, requirements gathering, analysis, debugging and deployment of the enhanced software programs.
