Pulling from Coremetrics data, from other transactional db2 and Oracle
databases. Ultimately the data warehouse is populating a db2 database
and then SQLServer cubes.
BOBJ will be used for ETL and BOBJ universes will be built on top of
the datawarehouse for reporting using the BOBJ reporting tools.

Main focus is BOBJ and Database Design

Project description: Looking at developing/expanding use of data
warehouse that they have built today. They have SAP (implemented 2
years ago), have had BObj for longer. They are interested at this
point in making sure they design a good data warehouse. Use data
integrator. At this point, they haven't used BI that extensively,
just touched the boundaries. They are trying to build a more customer
centric view of the data. Their business model is multi-channel and
the representation they have of the data now isn't a good 360 degree
view of the customer. Communication skills are important, must be
able to communicate well w/ their fellow team members, although they
won't interface w/ the business very much. More important to have
good data design skills. Right now, they are going into the
requirements gathering and discussing their design plans, but most
likely the architecture piece will be handled by another resource on a
shorter-term contract. This requirement is for someone very hands-on.
They are running ECC 6.0, Bobj 3.1
