Title: Functional Automation Engineer posted on 2014-09-22 18:53:25 Job Description: This is our directclient opening for a Functional Automation Engineer located in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a long-term 6-12+ month contract position and our client is looking to hire ASAP. The QA Functional Automation Engineer will be involved in the testing and automation of an ASP.NET/SQL <http://asp.net/SQL> Server 2008 application suite. This position will deliver test automation to verify ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> user interface, SQL data and APIs that will serve as the quality certification for the regression testing and sign off for the Production deployment process. The functional automation engineer works with other members of the Team to assure that new features/changes continue to be automated, and automated testing suite is maintained and up to date on the existing features. This position requires strong SQL skills as well as testing ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> web sites. Experience in related languages and test suites required, and experience with TestComplete is a plus. Must be comfortable working in an agile environment where requirements and documentation evolve over time.
