Title: Release/Configuration Engineer posted on 2014-10-14 19:52:17 Job Description: *Title : Release/Configuration Engineer* *Location: Dublin, CA* *Duration: 12 Months* This includes expected environment availabilities ensuring SLAs, automated/manual code deployment etc. Also expected to troubleshoot and resolve problems arise in Dev and QA environments. Need to maintain release notes & release calendars, track changes in the environments, build status and artifact information. *Job Description :* *Key Accountabilities:* - Manage, deploy and support multiple concurrent releases through various test environments - Manage and maintain multiple test environments, ensuring that these environments are properly setup, configured, and available for each project as scheduled. - Create, publish and manage formal release notification, instructions, deployment notes and launch plans as needed - Support and enhance build and release processes through automation using a combination of processes, existing tools and enhancements. - Works closely with AppDev team to maintain and manage source control. - Coordinate release activities with Project Management, QA, Business stakeholders and Development teams to ensure a smooth and trouble-free roll out of releases - Document processes and procedures as needed - Ensure that basic change management steps are documented and followed - Provide occasional weekend and late night support Job Requirements: *Skills Summary:* - Extremely detail oriented personality with ability to maintain strict schedules.
