*.Analysis and Creation of Business Requirements: *

• Coordinate and actively participate in the creation of clear, complete,
timely business requirements that enable quality communication between the
business and technology teams.
• Work hand-in-hand with project business owners to create concept
documentation and detailed business requirements for initiatives

*Partnership and Communication: *

• Create strong partnerships within Capital Markets and with other
departments in Fannie Mae.
• Partner with the technology teams to insure that the business
requirements are well communicated and walkthroughs are conducted.
• Partner with test to insure that test plans accurately reflect business
requirements, are appropriately prioritized and that expected results are
achieved.
• Support the development process by providing support in answering all
business requirements questions and resolving issues in a timely way.

Operational and Process Discipline:

• Follow all procedures and processes in development of business
requirements and project support.
o This includes but is not limited to the following: using standard
business requirements tools to capture requirements (Doors, Visio, etc),
insuring traceability from requirements through technical specifications
and testing phases of the project, creating and tracking baselines for
requirements documents.

*Qualifications*

§ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or
Engineering preferred
§ 5-7 years of experience analyzing and writing business requirements for
complex systems.
§ Excellent analytical and business requirements writing skills, including
the ability to understand and analyze complex issues. Must have the ability
to work independently on tasks under aggressive deadlines. Excellent
leadership and influencing skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork
in a fluid environment.
§ Demonstrated commitment to innovation in order to meet business
objectives with the willingness to take the initiative to accomplish
change.
§ Broad knowledge of mortgage industry. Knowledge of the secondary mortgage
market.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills,
and demonstrated presentation skills.
§ Experience with Requirements *Management Tools* such as *DOORs, Quality
Center, ClearQuest and Visio.*
§ Proficiency using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access,
Project) is required. Strong working knowledge of committing and web
applications desirable.
