Please let me know your interest about this opening. *Role: **ECAD workflow lead * *Location: Redmond, WA* *Duration :- 6+ Months* *Responsibility:* · Responsible for eCAD library creation (schematic symbols and layout footprints), configuration, and integration into the PDM workflow, including eCAD to mCAD data integration. · The person should be a Master in [Concept HDL + Allegro] flow who can run the whole library creation, integration and migration process, and lead the effort to migrate existing designs from OrCAD Capture to Concept HDL flow. The role is not for individual contributor, but someone who can guide the efforts of a 2-3 member library team and drive the workflow / process across several design teams and external suppliers. This person will work closely with other equivalent SPOCs from Design, Layout, Component Engineering, and mCAD, owning the whole eCAD library (of about 3000+ components). *Skills:* *Mandatory:* · excellent communication skills · Concept HDL is primary skill – must have expert level competency on Concept HDL for schematic symbol creation and schematic entry · Must have experience on Allegro PCB design editor, particularly for footprint library creation, and constraints editing · Must have experience on ADW (Allegro Design Workbench) · Must have experience on Constraints Manager · Must have experience in ECAD to MCAD data exchange, and ECAD connectors into the PDM workflow · Must have experience in configuring, generating & maintaining different versions or configurations of the BOM directly from the Schematics. Must be able to utilize advance features of the Concept HDL and ADW tools for this purpose. · Dynamic person with a flair to work across teams and be a change agent · Must be able to plan work, and work to a plan, be able to direct the work of 2-3 other persons in the team *Preferred (Strong Plus):* · Must have experience in Setting up design constraints, Layout, Routing and post processing of complex, high speed, multilayer printed circuit boards (using Cadence Allegro) · Sound knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing, design for manufacturability, design for test, design for assembly, EMC and EMI.
