This position requires an individual with proven technical skills within the wireless product and network technology discipline. *Key Roles and Responsibilities: * · Applies engineering principles and practice in wireless product and service development areas involving complex technical project work related to wireless technology, signaling protocols and user devices. · Provides technical expertise within project teams. Subject matter expert for GSM/UMTS/LTE L1-L3 signaling protocols, e911 emergency services, advanced RF network performance, and antenna technology. · Implementation and testing for wireless home & business phone devices. - Develop technical requirements for wireless subscriber products focusing on wireless home and business phone systems. - Develop test requirements, plans and test cases for wireless subscriber products. - Collaborate with other subject matter experts and cross-functional teams while developing and deploying innovative products and services. - Identify test equipment partners for test script and automation development and execution. - Validate test equipment and test scripts developed by 3rd party tool vendors. Ensure that test plans are documented, test scripts are integrated within the AT&T testing process, and test engineers including 3rd party labs are trained to execute the testing. - Collaborate with device suppliers and partners to troubleshoot and resolve defects quickly. - Support investigation of any post-launch functional issues in devices as necessary.
