*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * *Job Title: Websphere Admin w/CuramLocation: Greenville, SCDuration: 12 monthsDirect Client PositionClient: State of SCClemson University’s Medicaid Information Technology Services (MITS) team develops and operates systems on behalf of the State’s Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). Clemson’s MITS team will be responsible for the project management and oversight of this project.DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:- Installs, configures, integrates, maintains and troubleshoots application server instances and environments.- Provides WebSphere technical support to the application developers for the development, QA and production environments. - Assures Production and supporting environments are kept updated and in sync.- Serves as a liaison between the development teams and server administration teams as it relates to the web based applications. - Effectively maintains all application servers by performing maintenance to include patching and upgrades as necessary.- Ensures application server security integrity by reviewing and implementing policies within the system.- Monitors availability of the application servers and optimizes configurations to provide appropriate performance and availability.- Automates the deployment process for updating the applications. - Develops, documents and sets standards for supporting overall web infrastructure.REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• Ability to install and configure WebSphere ND and single instance• Knowledge of installation and deployment of Java enterprise applications• Knowledge of Websphere connection to back-end resources (jdbc, LDAP, etc.)• Expertise in configuration of WebSphere security• Ability to troubleshoot issues relative to WebSphere configuration• Ability to develop scripts for automating day-to-day tasks• Knowledge of system monitoring and gathering data for performance tuning• Expertise in back-up & recovery processesPREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• Knowledge of healthcare and related insurance principles and processes.• Medicaid eligibility system/business operations experience.• SC Medicaid experience.• Medicaid operations experience.• Public sector and/or academic environment experience.• Ability to mentor less experienced team members.REQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or field.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:None required.
