Duration: 15+ months Interview: Skype *Position Responsibilities: * The Senior Analyst/Developer will layout, document, develop and maintain applications to support Stores Point of Sale. Individual will work with external vendors to evaluate hardware and software need in stores. Will need to understand how these products can be integrated within the stores infrastructure. Prepare functional specifications for a given task. Develop and test applications. Work with business users to determine if application meets business requirements. Develop implementation plan to initiate applications in field. Ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise. *Experience Required:* 5 - 7 yrs. Experience in programming *(Progress Developer)* Fundamental understanding of relational databases and Linux operating system. *Preferred:* Progress 4GL RDBMS, Java, JBOSS, Web development, Linux/Unix experience, shell scripting, SUN Solaris. *Education Required:* Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience. *Additional Comments:* Good Oral and written communication skills. Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
