Hope you had a good weekend. Just wanted to check if you would have anyone
for this Service now position. Person has to be at clients place in Ohio
for a week of every month or so and can work remote after. This is a 6
month contract, could extend.

Max rate is $50/hr C2C. This is Urgent backfill as the person who was
suppossed to start tomorrow is not.

Engagement Description and Objectives and Role Description:

ServiceNow administration, development, and testing.
Incidents:

The incidents that customer’s ServiceNow (SN) team receives are typically
“it worked yesterday but not today” interruptions in ServiceNow
functionality.  In anticipation that customer’s most skilled SN technicians
are no longer available; the remaining SN admins that possess basic admin
skills could resolve many of these issues without escalating to a SN
provider.  Those that could not be resolved would be escalated to our
outside provider.  This type of work may require:

Assessment of the incident and collection of additional information needed
to clarify the symptoms to help identify root cause of failure
Develop a fix and deploy
Document work done to fix in the incident ticket.


Defects:

Defects are another type of incident except they generally relate to a
custom developed business solution customer has developed or a change they
have made to out-of-the-box ServiceNow functionality. Defects are typically
bundled into a weekly release and deployed with system enhancements. This
type of assignment may require the following work:


 Assessment of the incident and collection of additional information needed
to clarify the symptoms to help identify root cause of failure
Review of the custom code to determine where the issue may exist
Review of input data and their sources
Determine the fix, code and test
Receive approval and schedule deployment via change management
Deploy and confirm with customer the fix resolved the service interruption
Update all documentation

Enhancements & New Business Solutions

This bucket of work is more project oriented.  Customer creates solutions
to solve business problems or modify existing solutions to meet new
business needs.  Work would include:

Requirements elicitation and scope clarification
Phase (effort) estimates
Design
Build
System Test
User Acceptance Test
Receive approval and schedule deployment via change management
Documentation of design, code and user documentation
Training
Deploy
Early Life support
