The Front End Developer will provide technical leadership in building compelling user interfaces for web and mobile devices. He/she will use industry-leading technologies (*including AngularJS, Bootstrap*) and web standards (*HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to deliver a cutting-edge Business Intelligence portal.* >From prototyping to deployment, the Front End Developer will produce clean, responsive interfaces for robust user facing applications. He/she will work with the UX Manager, Development Managers and Directors in the BI organization to understand the current BI architecture, business goals and what it takes to implement the necessary enhancements to the user facing components of the BI environment. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location. *Duties and Responsibilities:* *The Senior Front-End Develop will be part of a cross-functional team and responsible for delivering an innovative Business Intelligence Portal integrating 3rd party tools, dashboards and custom analytics. * The role also requires that the candidate have strong data visualization skills and an understanding of industry leading BI Analytics tools. The candidate will work within a team that develops, tests, and maintains robust, scalable, high-quality code. He/she will contribute to the continuous improvement of our code base by promoting best practices in development, software design, and deployment. The candidate must be extremely personable, easy to get along with and possess a high degree of self-initiative. *Primary Responsibilities:* Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX Design and business stakeholders Deliver high-quality code in alignment with project schedule Coordinate with core project team members to ensure timely and seamless delivery of components *Minimum Qualifications:* BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) 7 years of developing clean, valid and compatible websites and applications *HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript development experience* *Experience with core front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, CSS, DOM scripting/properties* *Proven fluency with a JavaScript framework such as Angular or jQuery* Experience with CSS libraries including Bootstrap Proven working experience with Responsive web design Experience with Agile methodology Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills *Requirements and General Skills:* Experience developing large-scale web applications/ portals Familiarity with using OO languages such as Java, Python, PHP or Ruby Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions Experience with graphics editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Taste for simplicity and elegance in technical design and implementation Able to communicate with both design and development teams *Experience interfacing with REST APIs* *Understanding of MVC architectural software development pattern* *Technical Skills:* *HTML5* *CSS3* *Bootstrap CSS* JavaScript Angular Framework Adobe Photoshop Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion.
