Required 5 Years *Description:* The resources will be responsible for Development and support of services to support interaction both internally and with intra-agency data exchange. Development is done in a high performing organization that uses an AGILE SDLC. Ability to work as part of a development team and good communications skills are a must. Experience developing web services using MS technologies is a must. Web services extend the World Wide Web infrastructure to provide the means for software to connect to other software applications. Applications access Web services via ubiquitous Web protocols and data formats such as HTTP, XML, and SOAP, with no need to worry about how each Web service is implemented. Web services combine the best aspects of component-based development and the Web, and are a cornerstone of the Microsoft .NET programming model. The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code/services owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements.
