Position : ETL Data Warehouse developer Location : Richmond, VA Duration : 3-6 months (contract to hire) Need only GC or USC!!! Job Summary: Minimum 3-4 years of industry experience with an emphasis on ETL for business intelligence / data warehousing solutions in the insurance services industry. Hands on Informatica ETL and Unix Shell scripting Experience - 2-3 years. *Strong database development, SQL, physical database design and data modeling experience *Must have multiple full lifecycle project experience in developing ETL solutions as a developer, designer experience managing multiple concurrent, complex projects. *Excellent communication skills *Strategic and tactical thinking *Strong focus on providing service to the customer *Mastery in business process and application design *Out of the box thinking; Flexible / Critical thinking skills a must. *Able to sell concepts and designs / benefits to multiple audiences. *Able to work independently and in diverse, co-located and remote teams. *Strong Foundation in broad range of technology areas including IT Security, Networking, Application Development, Project Management, Desktop / Server Management, etc. *Strong bias for execution. Preferred Candidate Qualifications: *8+ Years of IT Experience *Bachelors Degree in Technical Field *Familiarity with Database and Business Intelligence Technologies. *Strong change orientation and change resiliency *Able to develop / implement detailed solutions.
