*Security Engineer Needed in MD for 6 months Contract.*
City: Owings Mills Description:Job Title: Security Engineer II Duration: 6 Months *Client Requires EAD, GC, USc only* Description: The Sr. CyberSecurity Specialist - Firewalls is responsible for the architecture, implementation, operation and maintenance of mission-critical next generation firewall technology. The Specialist will focus on consolidation, advanced tuning, threat monitoring and mitigation. This individual will also be a member of the Incident Response team and as such should have a background in other security domains such as Intrusion Preventions, Web Application Security. Required skills and abilities 1. Networking hardware - routers, switches, load balancers, etc. 2. Next generation firewalls and application identification and tuning. Experience with Palo Alto Networks is highly desirable. 3. IPSec and SSL VPN configuration. 4. Working knowledge of packet capture and analysis. 5. Experience with F5 LTM and other components a plus. 6. Device monitoring and alerting for performance and fault management with tools such as Nagios, HP Openview, SolarWinds, or similar. 7. Intrusion Prevention Technologies. 8. Vulnerability management - Nessus, nCircle, Rapid7. 9. Forensics systems and techniques such as HBGary, EnCase, FTK, etc. 10. SIEM such as ArcSight, Q1 Labs, RSA envision or LogLogic. Experience with one or more scripting/programming language on the list: 1. Python (preferred) 2. Perl 3. Shell scripting 4. VBScript 5. .NET 6.
