Skills (ADVANCED/EXPERT): Hyperion Financial Management—System 9 - Experience with PeopleSoft GL and/or HFM PeopleSoft Enterprise - Peoplesoft GL Questions (answers must be YES): Has the person developed functional requirements for GL? Has the person assessed impacts to the COA based on GL changes? Does the person have strong understanding and competency with Accounting principles, regulatory environments for banks? Does the person have strong General Ledger experience especially Consolidations/Eliminations across group of companies Does the person have a strong understanding of Finance Processes and Systems Does the person have recent PeopleSoft experience (within the last 2 to 3 year)? Does the person have recent banking/Financial services experience (at least 3 or 4 years) and within the last 5 years? Description: General Ledger Functional Lead: The candidate will work closely with the Finance organization, which consists of various business units that support disparate function's within the organization to scope, define, and come up with the roadmap for GL requirements for the project. The candidate should have a good understanding of Accounting principles, and strong General ledger experience in ERPs like PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS and HFM, and an understanding of regulatory requirements of the banks in the US. He should be able to access impacts to the General Ledger, which will broadly impact all finance functions as the General Ledger holds information on the company’s actual performance (revenue and expenses) and is the basis to support the various functions/divisions within finance. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a self-directed environment, should show initiative, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and take a role in proactively improving our processes. Primary Responsibilities: • Create functional requirements, identify data sources, gathers and analyze data sets and assess impacts of changes to COA/Entity structures • Strong General Ledger experience especially Consolidations/Eliminations across group of companies • Participate in and help lead change management activities associated with the consolidation of General ledger information across all US entities.Partner with management, project champions, and process owners to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives. • Provide functional support to the technical team in systems implementation and development and act as a liaison between end users and the technical team members.
