Role : Database Administrator Location : Madison, WI Start Date : ASAP Duration : 6 Months Rate-$50/hr on c2c Note : Looking for Someone Local who can come down for F2F Interview. *Job Description:* Looking for Database Administrator with 4 - 7 years of SQL Server experience. The candidate MUST have experience in the following: * Lead in problem resolution and support for databases and the applications using them - Be first-line support for agency-developed applications when issues or questions arise - Communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers - Alter production data as necessary * Experience in working with application development project teams, including - Taking an active role in planning meetings - Data modeling - Completing code reviews of database objects developed by other members of the team - Participating in deployments of database code to all environments * Establish and maintain physical database structures * Consult with application staff and end users when changes are required to database servers * Lead projects to upgrade SQL Server software The successful candidate will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
