The Network Engineer will be assisting with network architecture and design, detailed troubleshooting, network configuration, security, authentication and access management. * Requirements •Must possess experience of networking LAN, WAN, network securities (e.g., Firewall, Proxy’s, IDS/IPS) and wireless technologies. •Firm understanding of network design and configuration of large-scale voice and/or data networking infrastructures (e.g., Routers, Firewalls, VPN’s, Servers, VOIP technologies, switches, telecommunications facilities). *•Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and their operating systems in addition to network management systems. •Must have expert troubleshooting proficiency with voice and data infrastructure (e.g., Routers, Switches, and VOIP technologies) and network securities (e.g., Firewall, and IDS). •Must have expert proficiency with dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, and BGP). * •Must be able to implement system management tools and processes such as Entuity, Cisco Prime, Xmatters, BPPM. •Must have experience working in a large, complex corporate environment supporting Cisco 2900, 6500, 7000, ASR, Nexus, ASA series devices Additional skills: •Prior experience deploying and configuring Entuity. *•Experience integrating monitoring events from multiple sources, including custom monitoring tools. •Background with other Systems Management tools (Xmatters, Cisco Prime) is not required but would be considered a plus. •UNIX and Windows Server Administration skills. Be able to use the command line interfaces on these systems. •Background in Networking, including a thorough understanding of Network hardware (Cisco), SNMP, TCP/IP, IP subnetting.
