*Max Rate: 40/hr on C2CDirect Client* Job Title: .Net Developer w/MVC Location: Irving, TX Duration: 6+ months contract Position Description: We're looking for a well rounded ASP.net MVC C# developer who has a lot of recent front-end development experience in technologies like (HTML, CSS, JS, Jquery, Knockout/Angular/etc), and preferably someone who has worked with Microsoft SQL. Our perfect candidate is an experienced mid-level Asp.Net MVC web applications front end developer looking for full time contract work that could turn into a long engagement. The team the candidate will work with is responsible for the entire life cycle of the web application development. Required Competencies and Skills: Requirements • Strong Experience with ASP.NET (C#) MVC and developing object oriented web applications • Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining data-driven web applications. • Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript (JQuery a must), Knockout.js, and CSS. • Understanding of data modeling, database design and data querying. • Experience working within various SDLC processes with aggressive schedules. • Ability to evaluate, document and translate requirements into technical designs. • Ability to work independently to improve or create new modules that conform to an internally developed application framework. • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience with implementing, configuring and developing web services. • Experience with Microsoft SQL-Server or related relational database systems. • Experience configuring, securing and administrating IIS. • Knowledge of secure coding practices, especially as related to web technologies.
