Description: Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of architectures for a line of business or infrastructure sub-domain that are in compliance with the Enterprise Architecture. Responsible for working on medium to high architectural impact projects, recommending exceptions to the Enterprise Architecture for high level projects, reviewing and approving medium architectural impact designs, communicating the Enterprise Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams within their line of business or infrastructure sub-domain (organizational unit) and directing implementation of the architecture for their organizational unit. Serves as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture, h! aving expertise across a broad portion of the organizational unit's architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture. The primary function of the SA in the capacity of supporting the Project Architect is to support the day to day architecture needs of a project. This includes: Attending meetings and taking notes relevant to the architecture group. Update the Systems Architect on important matters regarding the project that are relevant to the architecture group. Support project initiatives that are not necessarily on the Project Plan. (This would include things such as assisting in the creation of architecture support documents, as well as certain educational material.) The SA will perform the regular duties of an SA, working with the architect, PM, and design/development team: Develop Use-Case Model. Develop, or support the production of, the Use-Case specifications. Support the architect in identifying the architecturally significant Use-Cases. Support the architect in developing the Analysis Model, including but not limited to: Logical Views, Process Views, Development Views, Implementat! ion (Physical) Views, and Data Views. Produce, or support the production of, the Non-functional Requirements. Support the architect around the traceability of architectural components to requirements. Support the development of Architecture artifacts including the Candidate Architecture Document and the System Architecture Specification. Candidate would have knowledge in designing workflow solutions.
