The Data architect will be required to possess expert professional skills to plan and deliver conceptual data structure designs and resolve large and complex data issues that cross multiple business disciplines and business units. Responsibilities also include monitoring and configuration of the company data architecture in order to provide optimal support for the company’s information systems on both a short and long term basis. *Responsibilities: * · Lead the evaluation and recommendations efforts for the future data architecture structure and standards. · Lead design of the high-level conceptual and logical models that facilitate a cross-system/cross functional view of data requirements. · Lead data architecture sessions and promote integrated systems and controlled data redundancy. · Plan and facilitate the establishment of data migration, integration and conversion strategies. · Actively participate in the data governance initiatives · Direct efforts to design, develop and maintain the corporate data repositories, including approaches for capturing, storing, maintaining, sourcing and retrieving corporate data. · Direct efforts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of component reuse and distribution cycle time standards. · Participate and provide recommendations for technologies and tools selection. · Facilitate communication and decision processes with diverse individuals and teams while defining data concepts and strategies. · Lead analysis and recommend solutions for the data access and security requirements. · Develops enterprise Data Architectures strategies and solution recommendations in support of business strategies. · Provide thought leadership and consulting services to business lines.
