*DB2 Architect role* *Location: Clifton Park, NY*
*Duration: 6 month contract with definite potential to hire after 6 months* *Client: Confidential (For Qualified Candidates Our Client will disclose the name directly)* *Requirements* · 7-10 years of experience working with DB2 9.5, 10, 14 and 15 · Knowledge of large-scale, complex system architectures, including Manufacturing Execution System, Oracle/MS SQL Databases, replication tools (GoldenGate); Exposure to application monitoring systems and troubleshooting tools and methodologies; · Experience with IBM DB2 Administration, Automation, Table Editor, SQL Performance Analyzer, Log Analysis, Query Monitor, Websphere Replication, Omegamon XE for DB2 PM, and Compuware File Aid for DB2 · Experience in Setup, fine tuning DB2 databases, knowledge of DB2 structure and schemas, and data migration from lower environment. · Experience with Troubleshooting Scripting, Data migration, Data analysis, DB2 9.5, 10, 14 and 15 database maintenance. *Preferred* · Experience supporting Oracle 10g/11g in a production environment and Knowledge of the Oracle installation and upgrade process. · Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design.
