* Job Title : *Project Manager Field Services
Location : Plano, TX
Duration : 6 mths
* Roles & Responsibilities*
· *Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.*
· This position needs to be able to operate independently to oversee
all aspects of projects.
· Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and
summarizes progress of project.
· Prepares reports and communicates status to upper management
regarding project.
· Familiar with a variety of the field IT Deployment concepts,
practices, and procedures.
· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals.
· Performs a variety of tasks.
· Directs the work of others.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
· Typically reports to a manager or head of a
unit/department. *
Skill Sets:*
Manufacturing, MS Project Server, PLM, PMP Certified
*Required Qualifications *
• A driven self-starter who can operate independently is an absolute must.
• Proven track record for driving IT deployments in a large environment
• Ability to juggle numerous activities and manage multiple IT concepts and
vendors
• A focused and effective leader and task driver with a positive 'can-do'
attitude
• Ability to manage a complex project budget with many puts and takes
• May require a bachelor's degree and at least 4-6 years of experience in
the field or in a related area.
*UPDATE*
Looking for candidates with strong broad-based IT exposure (on the
technology infrastructure side). This includes Windows Server, Linux, UNIX,
File/Print, Windows Client, WAN/LAN, SAN? Looking for previous hands-on
experience (although current hands-on is not requirement). Need someone who
can speak the language and who knows what services to looks for to implement
technology.
