*Duration: 12+ months * *Location: Cleveland, OH* Two teams within the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) platform have exciting opportunities for System Engineer Senior or Lead levels to work with the “Java stack” within Progressive’s infrastructure. The Infrastructure Resource Services (IRS) develops a dedicated pool of resources for all projects originating in ETS and other areas of the business requiring ETS specific skill sets. The Infrastructure Engineering and Delivery (IE&D) delivers new and enhanced, high quality IT services and technologies to client. Key functions include: Transition services, engineering, automation, infrastructure applications development, orchestration and monitoring. For this particular request both teams are in need of Capacity and Performance Management Engineers *Knowledge in technology disciplines below is required: * · Capacity and Performance Management: Predict infrastructure capacity requirements to meet performance and availability SLAs. · Dynamic Sizing - Configuration of 'Software on Z' · Auto Soft Capping: Skills include WLM, SAS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, IOF, CMOD, z/OS Commands, JES2 Commands, IBM Utilities, SAS, SAS/ITRM, SMFUTIL, SYSVIEW, RMF, MXG, Auto Soft Capping and knowledge of SMF. · Workload Management (WLM) - Configuration and Management: Design and manage the prioritization of workloads. Skills include WLM, SAS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, IOF, CMOD, z/OS Commands, JES2 Commands, IBM Utilities, SAS, SAS/ITRM, SMFUTIL, SYSVIEW, RMF, MXG, and knowledge of SMF. · SLA Management - Design and manage infrastructure to meet agreed upon performance and availability SLAs. Skills include WLM, SAS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, IOF, CMOD, z/OS Commands, JES2 Commands, IBM Utilities, SAS, SAS/ITRM, SMFUTIL, SYSVIEW, RMF, MXG, and knowledge of SMF.
