*Position:** **SQL Analyst* *Location:** Santa Clara, CA*** *Duration:** 6 Months* *Rate:** $30/hour* *Candidate MUST be US Citizen, GC or EAD holder.* *Project Description:* IT Supply Network Capability (SNC); Supply and Demand IS (SDIS) is a group that efficiently develops, delivers and manages high quality information management solutions that enable 'customer fulfillment' and 'planning' functions. *Daily Responsibilities*: System Analyst for Pricing projects *Necessary Skills (Must Have):* . Demonstrated skills in defining and articulating business requirements and translating into technical specifications . Proven skill in understanding, analyzing and validating data. Must have experience in determining the precise meaning of data in a complex enterprise system landscape and data flow. Clear understanding of Star Schema Concepts used for Reporting Database is a plus . Strong SQL skills in SQL server environment. Must be able to understand complex stored procedures and write SQL code to validate/analyze data. . Demonstrated skills in creating test cases based on black box, white box, and use-case testing methodologies. . Demonstrated skills in performing Integration Test and validation of applications/Reporting database . Ability to support applications and resolve issues in a timely manner . Experience in the Business Intelligence area with proficiency in the features, deployment, and use of reporting/analytics tools (SQL server tools). Strong familiarity of the BI industry, vendors, and products is important. . Experience in a structured software development methodology. . Ability to work on multiple projects at one time . Good analytical and problem solving skills . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Ability to work effectively in a team or independently with cross-functional/cross-geographic teams .
