*JOB DESCRIPTION:-* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:* *• 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. Working directly with Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c.* *• Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution are all critical functions that the database administrator performs. * *1. Install configure and troubleshoot Oracle and Grid Infrastructure on multi node RAC cluster with 11GR2 (11.2.0.4)* *2. Rolling upgrade of Oracle and Grid Infrastructure on multi node RAC cluster with 11gR2 – Precisely from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 * *3. Need to apply the latest patch in a rolling fashion for both the Clusterware home and Database home to confirm compliance to various versions of oracle databases.* *4. Install configure and troubleshoot 12c OEM.* *5. Expertise on SQL Plan Management (SPM) and DB profiles. * *6. Monitor database performance, diagnose performance problems, and tune the database as necessary. Investigate, gather diagnostic data for, and report to Oracle Support Services any critical database errors. * *7. Configure and manage memory allocation and adjust as needed. Calculate optimum values for database parameters such as amount of computer memory to be used by database. * *8. Troubleshoot and monitor database integrity and performance using EM12c.* *9. Hands-on experience with of Oracle Data Guard replication setup, maintenance and troubleshooting for high Availability.* *10. Manage all aspects of the physical database including schema’s, DDL, users, security, etc. in development, UAT and production environments * *11. Support DBA utilities, reorgs, index builds, etc. and DBA tools, Oracle Enterprise Manager, etc. * *12. Uni-directional and Bi-directional replication with Oracle Golden Gate is a plus * *13. Migrate a Non -RAC database to RAC with RMAN and Logical backup.* *14. Proven ability in UNIX shell scripting, PL/SQL coding and Perl.* *15. Experience in Disaster Recovery activities Roles & responsibilities:* *The Oracle Database Administrator is a highly skilled technical position that involves intricate knowledge of the Oracle database internals.
