*TOP 3 SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:*
- Subject matter expertise on any subject of Cognos development (Data
modeling using Cognos Framework Manager, Transformer, Dynamic Cubes, TM1,
Metrics Studio).
- Exceptional analytical (SQL) capabilities using SQL Developer or Toad.
- Project management.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned:*
- Capable of conducting analysis on reporting data sources, reverse
engineering of existing systems by him/herself as well as providing
guidance and direction to the team.
- Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards.
- Has wide latitude in determining creative solutions to strategic and
operational needs.
- May have technical personnel reporting to them.
- Has experience with Cognos Administration:
- Configuration and performance tuning of Cognos with IBM WebSphere
- Experience with deploying Cognos in a distributed Red Hat Linux or
Solaris UNIX environment
- Experience with resource
