*Location:* Lexington, MA
*Type of position:* Contract
*Duration : *Long Term
*Position:* Senior SQL Developer with Soarian Financials
*Description: *Looking for a SQL Server Developer with experience with the
Soarian Financials product. This person will be pulling data from Soarian
for a variety of things, including providing data for reporting and BI
solutions. Ideally this person would have an understanding of Soarian data
structures and be able to write SQL queries. Their development will be for
queries and Stored Proc's primarily against the Soarian Financial tables.
*Requirements:*
Experience designing and developing Stored Procedures for data to
be available for users/front end.
TSQL experience
Strong in SQL performance tuning
Experience with MDX queries preferred
Typical candidate would be someone who started as a senior backend
developer(SQL), then acquired data modeling experience in BI projects. Not
looking for ETL developers.
Experience with reporting development required, e.g. SQL Server
Reporting Services, Business Objects/Crystal, or any of the web based BI
reporting tools.
· Hands on experience with use and configuration of Siemens Soarian
· Strong SQL skills to include ability to write complex queries
against Soarian data structures and other non-Siemens products.
· Two years as an intermediate Programmer/Analyst.
· Three plus years programming experience and technical analysis
and design responsibility.
· Solid experience in structured development techniques and
relational database concepts.
