Role: Cloud System Admin Location: San Diego, CA Experience:3-5 years *Job Description* · Under Supervision, you will provide support for both in-house and over the counter server applications (including deployments, backups, and user/role management (OS/infrastructure)) · Using provide monitoring infrastructure to ensure hardware, operating systems health, application responsiveness and usage in both internally managed and cloud hosted environments are within normal ranges · Support the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of server OS (Linux/Windows), Web Server (Apache/Tomcat/IIS) and required libraries/components. Work with application and support teams to coordinate requirements, outages, upgrades, etc. · Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for any issues affecting uptime and responsiveness of support environments and applications. Work with responsible hardware, network or application developer teams to identify problems and resolutions. · Maintain internal tools used for: o version control o continuous integration o bug tracking o deployments, o configuration and setup o system cleanup *Qualifications* · Up to 1-to-2 years’ work or personal experience with the following: o Server OS configuration and support, including familiarity with enterprise software environments and client/server architecture o Apache/IS web server configuration and support, including native Java app hosting under Tomcat o Application deployment – both manual and via automation – on both Linux and Windows OS · Work or Personal experience with AWS Infrastructure Services including VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Chef · Working Knowledge of shell scripting in both Linux and Windows OS · Working knowledge of Java or .NET or both.
