If yes, please send me your latest resume as per the requirement ASAP. *Looking for a Teradata DBA * *Location: Orlando, Florida* *Duration: 7 Months.* *Responsibilities:* Management/Setup of Teradata development/production systems Database management (create users/roles, databases, etc.) Implement/conduct database load/performance monitoring Recommend use of statistics, indexes, partitioning, temp tables, other techniques to reduce or redistribute database load Performance analysis and tuning Analyze existing Business Object (BO) queries and ETL code using EXPLAIN, query log, timings, CPU utilization to identify system choke points Suggest/modify existing queries and database objects (indexes, partitions, etc.) to maximize performance across suite of BO reports and ETL Analyze existing data storage patterns and suggest alternatives to improve space and performance utilization Analyze existing data access patterns and suggest alternatives to improve system utilization Development of EDW loads and extracts using SQL transformations Write SQL to transform data into enterprise model Use existing tools and templates to conform to site standards *Qualifications:* DBA experience on V2R6 and 12, Strong Teradata SQL, Strong Teradata Concepts & Architecture, Strong Teradata Query Optimization Experience Required skills: Proven Teradata DBA experience Teradata concepts and architecture Data warehouse concepts and techniques. Proven Experience Implementing and Tuning large enterprise Teradata Data Warehouses Teradata ELT Complex SQL queries Teradata load utilities: BTQ, Multiload, Fastload, BTEQ, TPump Desired skills: Teradata certification Strong Data Analysis capability/experience.
