They will be building the hosting infrastructure for the EMR/EHR product from ground up. Needs to be comfortable deciding on what products to use to do this. Responsible for operations of company’s SaaS systems. Plans, designs, and implements systems, including configurations; supporting/troubleshooting problems; coordinating with vendors for installation of hardware and software; project implementation; providing training and assisting with proposal writing. Responsible for project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons. May research and evaluate emerging technology. Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Experience: 8+ years experience in the operations of specified systems Knowledge/Skills: Specialized knowledge of the planning, design, implementation and troubleshooting of specified systems This position leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of all technical systems infrastructure for a 24x7 production environment of a SaaS (Software as a Service) product platform. Plans, designs, and implements systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting problems, coordinate with vendors for installation of hardware and software, project implementation, operational management, security, deployment, uptime monitoring and performance reporting of the product platform. *Experience implementing and managing a SaaS production environment is preferred.* Key Responsibilities: 1. Design product delivery infrastructure, focusing on availability and performance 2. Develops and implements network security policies and monitoring 3. Collaborate with software development team to ensure infrastructure compatibility with application features and functionality 4. Coordinate the design and implementation of network systems with internal/external technical teams 5. Vendor and product evaluation/selection for system components and services 6. Define service level agreement (SLA) for product platform 7. Maintain system operations and plan future system upgrades/modifications 100% Minimum Job Qualifications: Education/Training – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field *Business Experience – Minimum 6 years of experience in an application hosting environment. Preferred experience with managing EHR/Practice management suites.
