Role: LINUX/UNIX Administrator Location: Des Moines, IA - *(Local Candidates Only)* Duration: 12 Months Required / Desired Skills UNIX System Administration experience with Linux as the core operating system Apache HTTP server experience Firewall administration Full time technical support experience in a complex networking or web hosting environment Unix scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Bash, TCL, cURL, etc.) At least a general working knowledge of web applications, protocols, concepts, methodologies Operational support for proxy, load balancing and Internet filtering services for additional security, performance, capacity and availability of host Operational support for secure, high volume DNS services and SSL cert management. Configure and maintain secure network infrastructure in conformance with security standards and best practices. Assigned systems include enterprise Manage networks and assigned systems to prevent unauthorized access while insuring efficient transmission. Perform log management and monitoring.
