*Position : **QlikView Developer/Designer * *Location : NYC, NY * *Duration : 6+ Months Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Job Summary* · Advanced Analytics/Business Intelligence team is looking for a talented and experienced *Qlikview Developer/Designer* to add to a team of professionals working on long term strategic data visualization intensive projects with high visibility. · The candidate will be required to work closely with business, development teams, other analysts and project managers to analyze and validate data visualization and business intelligence requirements. *Required Soft Skills/Abilities:* · The candidates must possess minimum of 7-10 years of related technology experience, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be creative, self-sufficient and resourceful. · The QlikView Developer/Designer performs a variety of project oriented tasks to support the information needs of the organization. · Must be proficient at translating business needs to technical requirements and highly experienced in providing solutions and designing impressive and meaningful dashboards. · Experience working on multifaceted teams engaged in aspects of Business Intelligence, data visualization and data warehouse is a prerequisite for this position. *Job Skills Required* · Minimum 7 years experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions · 3+ years experience utilizing QlikView to implement complex analytical solutions which access data from multiple sources · Solid experience developing complex QlikView data models · Mastery of Qlikview charting; set analysis; reusability; leveraging variables and templates; and building/deploying section-access security models. · Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Qlikview. · Strong knowledge on Qlikview server architecture and building qvd's and qvw's applying business rules and data validations. · Able to develop macros in visual basic for advanced functionality · Any experience on QlikView Extension objects would be plus · Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema); Working with large data sets; · Use of complex QlikView functions and developing most optimal scripts for a given solution · Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases and Dimensional Modeling · Optimization of data model for performance · Must have developed enterprise applications for use in production environments · Creating complex expressions for dynamic aggregation · Actions and triggers, Document Chaining & linking experience · Publisher and Server experience preferred but not required · Knowledge to leverage mapping GIS providers in QlikView for multi-layer maps (multiple metrics and dimensions overlaid on maps using extensions) · QlikView Certification preferred *Job Responsibilities:* · Develop, maintain, and enhance guidelines for QlikView applications · Develop, maintain and continually enhance a strategy around QlikView Data (QVD) files · Partner with other technical teams to develop security standards for QlikView applications and the usage of QVD files · Participate in design reviews of prototypes, and applications ready for production · Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create QlikView applications · Mentor junior resources and provide training Regards , Kailash Negi VSG Business Solutions Phone: 302-261-3207 x 102 Email: kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
