Position : Greenplum DBA Location : New York, NY Duration : 18 Months *Skills and Responsibilities :* - Minimum Bachelor's, preferred MS in CS, EE or similar technical degree; or 6 - 8 years equivalent experience. - Self-starting with high integrity and initiative. - Thought leadership with passion for process improvement and attention to detail. - Ability to handle complex assignments and follow through in a dynamic environment. - Must have advanced DBA experience and skills and experience in Greenplum. - Knowledge of database modeling (ERDs) and normalization. - Experience with optimization and indexing strategies. - Proficient in SQL, Perl, Unix Shell scripting. - Experienced in creating and maintaining data warehouses.
