** *Java Developer* ** *WASHINGTON, District of Columbia* *1 year* *Need only Citizens and GC's no GC EAD's* * Job Details:* Overview: Java Developer for IT Initiative Upgrade Activities Job Responsibilities: Resource will be working with a developer lead on multiple IT related upgrades (Oracle 12c, WebSphere 8.5, JRE 1.75, and application UI modernization) to an existing suite of applications. Resource will begin by assisting with the assessment of impact the upgrades will have on the existing applications. Identified issues will then need to be addressed by the development team. Current applications are written in J2EE/JAVA using Spring and Hibernate frameworks. Resource must have strong Java knowledge and preferably SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, UNIX, and Linux skills.
