Map developer with ArcGIS experience 2. Experience with the development of maps for web portal or mobile consumption as directed by Client including interactive field office maps, congressional district maps, Client regional interactive maps, GIS tools, etc. 3. Expertise in handling a variety of formats including XML, JSON, HTML, CSV, and RDF (these are examples of the type of files and delivery mechanisms that will be used in delivering data and used in maintain and building a catalogue) 4. Advanced web development skills, including content management, file conversion, and version control techniques 5. Specific skills in Geospatial development and ESRI GIS mapping software 6. “Team player” mentality and willingness to assist the project team in multiple areas (including those that may be outside of the initial task order requirements) *Secondary Areas of Demonstrated Knowledge & Expertise:* 1. Knowledge of the principals of Open Government and Data.gov 2. Clear understanding of the Digital Government Strategy and Project Open Data 3. Experience with the government’s Geospatial platforms, tool sets, and strategy 4. Experience with the Federal Shared Services Cloud for Geospatial development 5. Demonstrated knowledge of the linkage between data.gov and the USGS Geospatial platform and how data is consumed 6. Experience with Client’s internal architecture and how the architecture engages with an external platform 7. IT Project Management capabilities 8. Knowledge of IT life cycle development 9. Good communication skills to explain complex subject matter throughout the enterprise to employees with different levels of understanding 10. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 11.
