Role: Windows System Administrator Location: Trenton, NJ 08625 Duration: 12 Months The Microsoft Windows / Active Directory Engineer is a highly technical position responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, maintenance and support of the department’s Active Directory-based environment. The environment is comprised of a multi-site, multi-forest Active Directory infrastructure, and supports Microsoft Exchange-based messaging services, Microsoft SharePoint collaboration services, Microsoft SQL Services, Single Sign-on services, File and Print Services, Microsoft-based configuration and software update management systems, systems performance management and infrastructure management tools. The engineer will lead and work with users and technical peer groups to assist with daily troubleshooting of issues, and integration of other applications within the Active Directory environment. The engineer must be familiar with standard operating procedures and best practices in the listed technology areas, and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
