The QA Lead will be responsible for complex and highly integrated software systems that are internally developed in a fast-paced development environment. More specifically, the Lead will: · Create QA project plans for test execution by evaluating business requirements for comprehensiveness and testability and dividing them into conditions, cases, and scripts. · Coordinate and direct team through Functional, Integration, and System Test stages for various applications under examination, creating complex and reusable test data sets. · Contribute to other aspects of these test stages when required. · Communicate and coordinate with various teams/groups with potentially disparate agendas to accomplish team goals. · Communicate team status and progress on milestones. · Proactively identify defects, issues, risks and variances from expected results while working with developers to provide mitigation strategies. · Review test cases and other testing artifacts created by other team members for completeness and accuracy. · Participate in enterprise-wide project efforts including status meetings, integration testing, and system testing as a Clearing IT representative. · Participate in the implementation of new process initiatives in assigned projects. · Train new QA team members. The candidate must be very experienced at developing test strategies, detailed test plans, test cases, test data, test coverage, and test execution rapidly and under potentially adverse conditions. Senior level experience with formal QA methodology through all stages of the SDLC is essential, along with experience in test optimization for an aggressive schedule, test effort estimation, and the concurrent leadership of and participation within testing teams. The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work within a dynamic team environment is critical as well.
