Business Objects Trainer
Duration: 2 - 3 weeks Location: Columbus, OH Job Description: Please pay attention to the details on this role. We need an expert in Business Objects that can teach three areas to 6-10 people. The three areas are: Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and Xcelcius Role: Business Objects Trainer 1. Overview Cardinal Health is implementing/upgrading multiple systems. This will impact the current operational and historical reporting. All "AS IS" reports will be evaluated and a new set of requirements based on FUTURE state will to be developed as the basis for report development. This new development will encompass Pixel Perfect, Analytical and Dashboard type reports. 2. Goal Establish solid foundation for the BI&A team to develop MBT reports utilizing Cardinal Health approved reporting tools. 3. Objectives Train multiple Cardinal BI&A team members (up to 12) on Crystal Reports Enterprise XI Webi Xcelsius Leverage Cardinal FUTURE state systems as a basis for data access SAP Teradata (star schema data model) Conduct training at a Cardinal Health location Provide very brief introduction to the tools and dive into the details of developing. 3.1 Method . Instructor led overview of course material . Instructor guided instructional session . Student hands-on exercises . Student Q&A 3.2 Sessions 3.2.1 Required . Crystal Reports Teradata ROLAP Data Structure Xcelsuis Teradata ROLAP Web Intelligence Sessions utilizing universes against TD 3.3 Schedule Looking to set up training as soon as possible, no later than end of July. Prefer that all training be done in 3-4 days, training will be accelerated. May need to consider a few days training one week, and another session the following week. 3.4 Materials 3.4.1 Agenda There will need to be a course agenda providing time line and list of course content. We can help provide contents to discuss. 3.4.2 Overview There will need to be a course description - detailing the training to be performed and stated training objectives for each day 3.4.3 Manuals The training contractor must provide an electronic copy of the training manual available for each participant included in the cost of training. The electronic copy must be provided to Cardinal Health on Monday of the training week. The training manual must include all of the subject matter specified in the agenda. Additionally, there must be an option of obtaining a hard copy of the training manual available at a reasonable price. 3.4.4 Student Lab worksheet The training contractor must provide a step by step worksheet for the attendee follow during the in-class workshop sessions 3.5 Environment The training will need to be conducted using Cardinal systems or vendors system provided that it has a similar configuration.
