I have a very urgent DIRECT CLIENT requirement for *VMware Migration Specialist* in *Montpelier, VT*. Please Let Me Know If you have available candidate, please reply with their word resume, location, rate and contact number.
Please send the resumes at pe...@cncconsulting.com Job Title: VMware Migration Specialist Location: Montpelier, VT Duration: 4+ Months The servers for the Department run on dedicated physical servers that will be end-of-life in 2016 and un-supported by VMware in August 2016. Their servers sit behind physical Cisco ASAs (firewall) and F5 load balancers. ERP has two ESXi clusters at National Life to support their production and testing/development environments. The ERP database cluster runs on four newer 1U servers using ESXi 5.5 and the EVA provides storage. The ERP “Cluster 1” runs on 11 old G5 AMD blades using ESXi 5.1 and the EVA provides storage. ESXi 5.1 is the highest version of ESXi that can run on those blades. It is the goal to migrate them into the generic State Cloud (ESXi 5.5) and remove the physical devices from their environment. The high-level plan is to collapse firewalling and load balancing into just an F5 device and mirror their current number of VLANs behind that virtual device. As VMs/environments are migrated, they will have to be re-issuing of IP's. EXISTING TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENT The existing environment consists of two Clusters. Cluster 1: A 4-node ESXi5.5 cluster running their Oracle Database servers. The databases are a mix of RAC and non-RAC servers using Oracle Linux for the OS. The cluster has a total of 15 VMs. The VMs in this cluster are using five (5) VLANs. Cluster 2: An 11-node ESXi5.0 cluster running all their non-database VMs. It’s a mix of Windows and Linux servers and a mix of environments (development, testing, production, management) The cluster has about 120 VMs. The VMs in this cluster are using 21 VLANs. REQUIREMENTS: Contractors shall be able to demonstrate proven experience with the following technologies. VMware ESXi 5.0 &5.5 (hypervisor developed by VMware) Virtual Networking V2V Migrations ESXi Upgrades F5 for load balancing and firewalling (https://f5.com/) Virtual F5 Modules Cisco ASA firewall Physical F5 load balancer Thanks Peter Smith Direct: 224-764-8535 Email ID: pe...@cncconsulting.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
